Vintage Beauty - Nadia Berumen

There is beauty in all and when that beauty is found let it be known. Own it, poss it, feel it, be it. Why? Because we all have it. If we haven't been told we need to hear it more often, we need to see it more often and be it more often. I am so proud of Nadia! She has been a nugget of gold in my mind and as her "vintage look" has gradually evolved through the months of working together I can start to see a confidence that lay hidden beneath all that beauty. What is beauty exactly? Beauty can be physical, it can be tangible but it is also hidden within the unconscious of our minds. Beauty can be in the intimacy of a look, in the hidden pain we carry within ourselves and the struggle we go through to fight that inner pain. Beauty is that struggle because as it shapes us it also defines us making us more stronger so that we can endure the battle of our heart. Nadia keep fighting and be proud to own such classic, delicate and sexy beauty that only YOU hold. I am blessed to have been part of this journey and may we take many more together.

What does boudoir mean to me?

Boudoir is lingerie photography, but to me it means much more than that, BOUDOIR photography means empowering women through images that reflect who they are whether they wear lingerie, are fully clothed or not, it means creating images that make them feel beautiful and finding that little piece of them that they did not realize they have and bringing out such beauty with images that make them feel proud, gorgeous and strong. I know some may find boudoir somewhat intimidating but to me it is a challenge and pleasure to bring out the feminity in all women no matter what size, shape, age or national background.
